GRAVESIDE RITES HERE FOR KHALIL R. THOMAS

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday for Khalil R. Thomas, age 57, who was found dead July 27, 1971 of a gunshot wound at his home in Pocatello. Investigating officers found a 12-gauge shotgun by the body.

The Rev. Richard T. Manion, Calvary Bible Chapel, conducted the service.

Mr. Thomas was born Jan. 24, 1914 at Malad to John D. and Edith Davis Thomas.

He was a graduate of the Malad High School and has been a resident of Pocatello for 28 years. He was employed as a plumber for the Kilian Plumbing and Heating Co. for 17 years, and for the last nine years has been a plumber at Idaho State University.

He married Mabel I. Daniels, Aug. 28, 1932 at Santa Ana, CA. Surviving besides his wife, are two sons, Kelly Thomas and Daniel Thomas, both of Pocatello; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Colson, Blackfoot; two sisters, Mrs. Jack K. White, Oakland, CA; and Mrs. George Devaney, San Rafael, CA; and three grandchildren.

He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 648 and Idaho State Employees Assn.
