Keith Jorgensen Wright, 9 March 1923

ROY – Keith Jorgensen Wright, 79, passed away July 19, 2002. He was born on March 9, 1923 in Hyrum, UT to John Gibbs Wright and Inga Amelia Jorgensen Wright.

On October 28, 1949 he married Myrtle Jane Adams in Elko, NV and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

He served in the US Army in Italy in WWII, and received the Purple Heart.

Keith farmed all his life in the Pocatello Valley and Sublett, ID.

He worked at the navy Defense Depot in Clearfield, HAFB and retired after 27 years.

A member of the LDS Church, Keith was a High Priest in the Roy Eighth Ward where he served as ward clerk, second counselor in the bishopric and as a home teacher.

He enjoyed fishing at Flaming Gorge, hunting, four wheeling and farming.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; three sons: Wayne (Norma) Wright, Plain City; Lynn (Shauna) Wright, Layton; and Boyd Wright, Layton; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and his parents.

Funeral services were held July 23, 2002 at Myers Mortuary, Roy, UT. Interment was in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.

Military Honors were accorded by the Combined Veterans Group.
