KEITH DAVIS DUDLEY (BIRTH 3 NOV 1917/DEATH 19 JUL 1990)

MALAD – Keith Davis Dudley, 72; 235 Bannock, died Thursday (19 Jun 1990) of heart failure. He was born Nov. 3, 1917 in Elkhorn near Malad to Joseph F. and Barbara Davis Dudley.

He grew up in the Elkhorn and East Daniels areas where he attended school. As a young boy the family moved to the Cherry Creek Samaria area where he farmed and ranched with his father.

He married Selma J. Illum Aug. 15, 1943 in Malad.

In the early 1940s he purchased purchased part of the family ranch which he operated many years. He has also been employed with Hess Construction and Hess Pumice for 17 years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Cattleman’s Association.

He is survived by his wife, Selma, Malad; one son, Richard “Dick” Dudley, Franklin; one daughter, Blaine (Bunny Lea) Lewis, Salt City, Utah; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, three brothers, Maynard Dudley, Sparks, Nev.; J. Wayne Dudley, Salt Lake City ,Utah; and Thomas W. Dudley, Spokane, Wash.

Funeral services will be held Monday at noon in the Malad LDS 2nd Ward Chapel.

Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home located at 132 W. 300 N., Malad, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday just prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
