Kaye Johnson, 84, returned to her heavenly home August 19, 2022, surrounded by her family. Kaye was born September 11, 1937, to Ruth and Rex Robinson in Salt Lake City, UT, the first of five children.

She married Brent Hall July 23, 1954. They welcomed four children, Rosanna, Sabrina, Stewart, and Leslie into their family. Brent lost his life November 30, 1960, in an industrial accident at Simplot Company Fertilizer Plant in Pocatello, ID.

She married Harold Tillotson July 6, 1962. This marriage brought two more children, Robert and Richard. Harold adopted all four of Kaye’s previous children. On July 9, 1966, Harold also lost his life in a heavy equipment accident at Mabie Canyon mine near Soda Springs, ID

Kaye married Roger Johnson January 5th, 1968. His five children, Pat, Ann, Amy, Alayne, and Anola brought the combined family to a total of 11 children. Kaye and Roger spent 54 wonderful years together.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents Rex and Ruth Robinson, brother Richard Robinson, first husband, Brent Hall, and her second husband Harold Tillotson. Granddaughter Chantel Fox, grandson Robin Lish and great-grandson Derek Krein.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many callings throughout the years. She and Roger served a mission to Nauvoo, Il and she worked in the land records office (2000-2002).

As an entrepreneur she started Katie’s Breadshed that many travelers on Highway 30 enjoyed. She was widely known for her many yummy baked goods.

Kaye loved the Lord, and her life was filled with love and service to her family and friends.

Kaye is survived by her devoted husband, Roger Johnson and their 11 children and spouses; Pat (Dawn) Johnson, Ann (David) Hedrick, Amy (Jerry) Nichols, Rosanna (Dave) Kingston, Alayne (Don) Cobbley, Anola Johnson, Sabrina (Scott) Cleverley, Stewart B. Tillotson/Hall, Leslie (Maximiniano) Pacada, Robert (Maryann) Tillotson, Richard (Valerie) Tillotson, 45 grandchildren and 80 great grandchildren (and counting…) two sisters; Sonja (Clyde) Rigby and Nicole (Douglas) Haines and brother Neal ( Carol) Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kaye’s family would like to express their thanks to the loving staff at the Grace Assisted Living, Independent Living & Memory Care in Chubbuck, Idaho and Encompass Hospice “We cannot express with words our gratitude to them for the kind and respectful care they gave to our sweet mom.”

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday August 26, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center in McCammon ID. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. prior to her service at the church. Burial will be in the Norton Cemetery.
