OGDEN — Katherine Thorpe Hartley, 87, formerly of 1485 Sun View Drive, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1988, in an Ogden nursing home of causes; incident to age.
She was born March 16. 1901. in Pleasantview. Idaho, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Mason Thorpe.
She married Jack Clarence Hartley on Dec. 21, 1920, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He later died.
She had lived m Ogden the! I past 60 years.
She was a member of the LDS Church and a member of the Ogden 64th Ward. She was active in the Relief Society and had served as organist in the Primary and Sunday School.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Ray J. Hartley, Roger M. I Hartley and Mrs. Cyrus L. (Geraldine) ‘ Warren, all of Ogden; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 496 24th. 1
Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday from 1 to 1:45 p.m.
Interment in the Washington Heights Memorial Park.
