June Williams Jones

June was born January 23, 1916, in Malad, Idaho to Martha Blaisdell Williams and Edward G. Williams. June passed away June 13, 2017. She married Joseph D. Jones on November 2, 1933, and five children were born to this union. They spent all their married life raising cattle and ranching in the Malad Valley.

June is survived by one daughter Madlyn Bloxham, two sons Terrel W. (Carol Anna) and Ray. Four sister-in-laws, Lou Williams, Helen Williams, Nelda Williams and Kenna Williams. She was proceeded in death by her husband, one infant daughter Beverly June and one son Joseph Dean. Six brothers, Dee, Glen, Claude, Thayne, Leon, Percy one sister Faye Caldwell.

June was always active in the community. She volunteered in Cancer Fund Raising, taught 4-H classes and was Secretary of the Eagles Auxiliary for many years. She was a member of the Kith Club. She loved to do crafts, along with knitting and crocheting. June was a member of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints.

June had seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. in Malad. Friends may visit with the family on Monday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
