Julianne Satula

Malad – Julianne Satula, 97, of Malad, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, in the Oneida County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb 2, 1895, in Pupkaimis, Lithuania, a daughter of Michael and Mary Kacinauskas Ambaulaitis. When she was 18 she moved to Waterbury, Conn., where she married Joseph Jacob Satula on Jan. 30, 1917.

Most of her adult life was lived in New Britain, Conn. Her family moved to Seattle in 1957, and Mr. Satula died there in 1969. In 1980 she moved to Malad, (Idaho) and had since resided here. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Dennis, of Malad, and Mrs. David (Mildred) Parkinson, of Portage, Utah. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and on great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, where friends may call on Sunday, June 13, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Monday prior to the services. Burial will be in Malad City Cemetery.
