Funeral Today for Josh F Evans [27 Jan 1949]
Funeral services are being held this afternoon at 2 pm in the Malad Presbyterian church for Josh F Evans, 66, who died Monday of a heart attack. Mr Evans was shoveling snow near his home when stricken.

Mr Evans was born at Malad, December 14, 1882, the son of Jo. W and Mary Ann Evans. He was married to Hazel Morgan, May 8 1912 and one daughter was born to them. Mr Evans, a carpenter in Malad all of his life, was a member of the Presbyterian church, the IOOP lodge and the Woodmen’s lodge.

He is survived by his widow, daughter, Mrs Etha Chappell, Nampa, Idaho; and the following sisters and brother: Mrs Winnie McClurg, Mrs Bertha Greer, Mrs Gainor Mitchell, Mrs Harriet Lusk, all of Malad; Dan F Evans, Boise.
