JOSEPH M. HARRIS DIES AT DOWNEY MONDAY
Joseph M. Harris, 79, McCammon, died at the Marsh Valley Hospital Monday after an illness.
Mr. Harris was born at Woodruff, Utah, (Cherry Creek) Jan. 7, 1882, to Joseph Robert and Sarah Lavisa McCrary Harris. He lived there until 1902 when he moved to McCammon to homestead and has farmed there since that time. He married Helen E. Larsen Nov. 9, 1910 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
He was widely known for his musical ability throughout the area, and had been active in the LDS church. He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters; 19 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at McCammon ward chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Manning Funeral Chapel Thursday evening and after noon Friday at the McCammon ward chapel. Burial will be at McCammon.
