Joseph E. Facer

FACER, JOSEPH E., October 2, 1886 – January 3, 1939

Funeral services for Joseph E. Facer, formerly of Malad and for the past two years a resident of Tyhee, were held in Tyhee Friday at noon. Mr. Facer died in a Pocatello hospital of pneumonia.

Joseph Erickson Facer was born October 2, 1886 in Willard, Utah. He came to Malad some 40 years ago and engaged in farming. He was married to Myrtle Thorpe, to whom seven children were born. Two years ago, the family moved to Tyhee, where he again engaged in farming.

Surviving him are his widow, and the following sons and daughters: George, Cleon, Grant, Clarence and Robert of Tyhee; Ralph of Malad; and Mrs. Dee Williams, also of Malad; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George Facer of Brigham City and the following brothers and sisters: Henry Facer of Salt lake City; Ray Facer of Hyrum; Lester Facer of Smithfield; and Mrs. J.W. Steele of Pocatello; Mrs. Charles Bitter and Mrs. Vesta Sandberg of Salt lake City; and Mrs. E.W. Hartman of Ogden.
