Services Held for John W. Price

Funeral services for John William Price, 75, who [was born on April 28, 1888 in Malad, Idaho] died Dec. 25, [1963 in Oneida Co.] were held at the Malad Third Ward LDS Chapel Saturday with Counselor Lloyd L. Sorenson officiating.

Family prayer at the home was by James B. Jones.

Speakers at the services at the chapel were Counselor Sorenson, Dr. Thos. W. Richards and Jesse Hughes. The invocation was by Bishop Lon W. Corbridge and the benediction by LaMar J. Thomas. Musical numbers were prelude and postlude, Olive Fredrickson; vocal duet, Leora Brown and Iris Barker, accompanied by Janeal Brown; vocal duet. Norma Gleed and June Crowther, vocal solo, Eldon Corbridge. The accompanist was Myra Jean John.

The concluding rites were at the Malad Cemetery with Raiford Benson offering the dedicatory prayer.

Flowers were carried by members of the Malad Third Ward Relief society.

Casket bearers were Leonard Hughes, Larell Jones, Marion Price, Ronald Price, Devon Price and Dick Jones.
