Mrs. Evans was born May 24, 1884 at Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of William J. and Agnes Reese Morgan. She married Thomas D. Evans, June 19, 1967 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Mrs. Evans received her education in the Brigham City schools and moved to Malad in 1905. She was an active member of the LDS Church and was a member of the Ladies Literary Club.

Survivors include her husband, Malad; two daughters, Mrs. Ezra Taft (Lucille) Pett, Parma, and Mrs. J. Moroni (June) Ward, Malad; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one brother, Warren R. Morgan, Santa Rosa, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Parry, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Winifred Thomas, Pocatello; one half-brother, Kenneth Morgan, American Falls; two half-sisters, Mrs. Gertie G. Talbot, Jerome, and Mrs. Hazel Pretchett, American Falls.
