Jane Davis or Davies Evans (Birth 17 Feb 1811/Death 24 Jan 1890)

Jane Davis Evans was born in Llanelly, Carmarthen, Wales on February 17, 1811. Her parents were Benjamin and Sarah Edwards Davis. Her headstone at the Malad City Cemetery says birthdate is 24 Feb 1805.

She married Thomas L. Evans February 7, 1837 in Wales. The marriage was solemnized in the Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Utah on November 7, 1868.

She passed away of January 24, 1890 and is buried in the Malad City Cemetery, Oneida, Idaho.

Survivors include her husband and son Benjamin D. and daughters Mary, and Jemina or Jemima. She was preceded in death by son Evan and daughter Sarah.
