James Christensen (Birth-18 August 1909)

James Christensen, 27, died at his home in Malad on Tuesday, July 20 (1936) of pneumonia. Mr. Christensen had only been ill a few days.

James Christensen was born August 18, 1909, the son of Niels and Margaret Vanderwood Christensen. He was born at the family home in Elkhorn and spent his boyhood there.

He married Miss Reta Williams, January 22, 1932, and they have made their home in Malad where Mr. Christensen was employed as mechanic in his fathers garage.

He is survived by his father Niels Christensen, his wife, Reta and two children James Gary and Lenis, and the following brothers and sisters; Frank Christensen, St. John; Ralph Christensen, Burns, Oregon; John Christensen, Alaska; Mrs. Ida Mae Gallager, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Pearl Moore, of Clearfield, Utah; Mrs. Vesta Facer, Malad; a half brother, Neils Christensen of Malad.

Funeral services will be held at the Malad Stake tabernacle, Friday, at two o’clock P. M.
