Ida Emma Baker Condie (Birth – July 21, 1880)

Coeur d’Alene – Ida Emma Condie, 107, of Coeur d’Alene died Friday, January 1, 1988.

She was born July 21, 1880 in Richfield, Utah, to William George Jr. and Amanda Caroline Jensen Baker.

She married Joseph Condie in 1913 at the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. He died in 1972.

She moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1972 from Malad

She was an active member of the LDS church in Coeur d’Alene.

She taught school at Escalante, Utah prior to her marriage. Following her marriage, she and her husband ranched in the Thatcher area. She was also a nurse.

She is survived by one son, Reed Condie, Coeur d’Alene; two daughters, Lila Bjorkman Pratt, Emmett; Phyllis Savel, Coeur d’Alene; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William G. Condie; stepsons, Grant, Fern and Orlando Condie; and two step-daughters, Viola Stokes and Zetta Corbett.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 6, at the LDS Church in Coeur d’Alene with burial following at Coeur d’Alene with burial following at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
