History of Alta Clark

I, Alta Clark, was born 25 January 1917 to Hugh L. Clark and Sarah Bell (Zundel) Clark, at Willow Springs, Oneida County, Idaho (near Malad).  I went to school at Malad and Woodruff.

We moved from Willow Springs to Woodruff on 31 March 1930.  I didn’t go to school very much because of my eyes.  I was operated on when I was two months old in the Dee Hospital at Ogden, Utah.  It was through the faith of my parents and grandparents that my life was spared.

I am now enjoying life and my health is pretty good.  I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for which I am very grateful.  I was baptized 1 March 1925 by Henry I. Mills and confirmed the same day by Lewis D. Jones.  I am a Relief Society teacher which I enjoy very much.

I never married and live with my parents  on the farm at Woodruff, Idaho.
