Henry Mitchell Bolingbroke

Henry Mitchell Bolingbroke was born April 25, 1850, at Coventry Warwickshire, England. He was blessed by the minister of the Church in England, May 20, 1850. He migrated. Baptized by Elder James Thomas on October, 1864. His father, Thomas John Bolingbroke was born March 4, 1812 at Coggeshall, Essex, England. His mother, Mary Ann Mitchell, was born November 30, 1817, at Ashtead, Surrey, England. His schooling commenced at Savanna, Missouri, September 1858. He was ordained an Elder on September 14, 1874 and a Seventy by Seymour B. Young. 

On September 14, 1874, he married Mary Elizabeth Lusk in the Endowment House at Salt Lake City, Utah by Daniel H. Wells. He had his patriarchal blessing on September 1900 by John Reynolds. Went on a mission to England October 6, 1900 and returned from the mission on November 6, 1902. 

Henry came from England to America with his parents, a child one year old, in May 1851. He had three brothers and one sister. He was a father of eleven children and 24 great-grandchildren. He was a ward teacher for a number of years. He was set apart as treasurer in the Young Men’s Mutual and was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died May 1, 1905.
