Henry H. (Hank) DeValcour

Henry H. (Hank) DeValcour, 84, of 10842 Kaibab Drive, Sun City, Ariz., a former resident of Pocatello and Arbon Valley, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1992 at the Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City, Ariz. following an illness.
He was born Feb. 22, 1908 at Chicago, Ill., the son of Henry H. and Hannah J. Specht DeValcour.
He came to Idaho in 1925 to work on the American Falls Dam. Henry worked for Ole Hatch as a farmer. Later he developed his own farm in Arbon Valley, 20 miles southwest of Pocatello.
He married Ruby Hatch, March 23, 1929, in Pocatello.
He retired in 1968 to share fishing with his grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks since 1941.
Survivors include his wife Ruby Hatch DeValcour, Sun City, Ariz.; a daughter, Peggy Lauree Carey, Idaho Falls; five grandchildren, Linda Woodman, Steven Carey, Doreen Carey, Dale Carey, Michelle Roberts and eight great-grandchildren.
