Helen Hanson (died 6 March 1985)
Helen R. Hanson, 77, died Wednesday, March 6, in a Santa Barbara, California, hospital after an illness. She was born April 16, 1908, in Brigham City, Utah, to Edna K. and Hyrum J. Hanson. She attended school in Malad, Idaho, and graduated from high school in 1925 and from the University of Utah in 1931. She moved that year to San Francisco and in 1935 to Long Beach, California, where she was employed by Shell Chemical Company until her retirement. Her last nine years were spent in Santa Barbara. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Verda Hoffman, and is survived by a brother, Ralph J. Hanson, Sacramento, California, and a sister, Florence Goddard, Pocatello, Idaho; nine nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Santa Barbara Cemetery.
