Helen Deanna McNabb, 57, 4985 Chinook, died early Thursday morning, November 17, 1994, in a local medical center. She was born May 24, 1937, at Malad City, Idaho, to Joseph A. and Lenna Thomas Davis. She served in the United States Navy from December 1957 to November 1960. She married Frank A. McNabb April 11, 1961, at Elko, Nevada.

She received a BA degree in elementary education and an associate degree in drafting from Idaho State University. Her thirst for knowledge took her was past her degrees.

She was employed as a draftsman with Walker Engineering until her retirement on September 11, 1991, after 12 years of employment.

She loved reading, interior decorating and animals of all kinds, especially her two dogs.

She is survived by her husband, of Pocatello; two daughters, Mrs. Chris (Julia) Stewart, of Burley, Idaho and Mrs. Bret (Laura) Hamilton, of Blackfoot, Idaho; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Stewart, of Burley, Idaho; four brothers, Joseph Dean Davis, of Bountiful, Utah; Griff T. Davis, of Soda Springs, Idaho; Tim Fred Davis, of Burley, Idaho; and Jim Davis, of Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Dick (Isabel) Zundel, of Soda Springs, Idaho; and Mrs. Lynn (Anne) Schenk, of Burley, Idaho. She was preceded in death by both parents, a brother and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, November 19, 1994, in the Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 N 15th Ave. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Private interment will be held in Restlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Henderson Funeral Home, Pocatello.
