Gordon Bosworth
February 2, 1956 – March 5, 2025

Our dear father, brother, and grandpa (pa) returned home peacefully on March 5, 2025. He was born on February 2nd, 1956, in Downey, Idaho.

Gordon Bosworth was the cherished youngest of seven children born to Don and Helene Bosworth. He grew up in the beloved red brick home in Downey, Idaho, where laughter and love filled the halls. A proud graduate of Marsh Valley High School, Gordon formed friendships that lasted a lifetime, always making time to stay connected with those he held dear. His charm, quick wit, and infectious sense of humor made him impossible not to love—he had a knack for finding fun in every moment and, more often than not, getting away with it thanks to his good looks and warm smile.

Gordon was a highly skilled lineman and dedicated over 30 years of his career to Thiokol, where he became known for his expertise, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to excellence. His deep knowledge of electrical systems and passion for his craft made him a respected figure among colleagues and a trusted professional in the field.

In retirement, Gordon found his greatest joy in spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He cherished every moment with them and often could be seen walking down quiet dirt roads with his granddaughter Haizlee, taking in the beauty of nature and the simple pleasures of life.

For the past year, Gordon has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and preparing to enter the temple. He received his endowment on March 1st, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

Gordon is survived by his children Shawn Bosworth, Brooke (Jesse) Barber, Kole Bosworth, Dillon (McKinze) Bosworth. Gordon has nine grandkids. His surviving sisters are Jane Jones and Kristi Hill, as well as sisters-in-law Leoda Bosworth, Lanada Bosworth, Pam Hoge, and brother-in-law Jerry Howell.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents Don and Helene, brothers, Bryan, Claude and Ross, sister, Suzanne Howell, brother in-laws, Alex Hill and Randy Jones.

Funeral services will be held on March 12th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the LDS church in Downey, ID. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in the Cambridge Cemetery.
