Glenna Joy Morrison Yearsley

SWAN LAKE — Glenna Joy Morrison Yearsley, 69, of Swan Lake and wife of Stanton Yearsley, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2001, at her home.
She was born July 20, 1932, in Downey, Idaho, a daughter of William Andrew and Louise Shultz Morrison. She was raised in Marsh Center and attended school in Downey.
She married Stanton Lamar Yearsley on May 29, 1948, in Preston, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple December 8, 1952. She lived in Swan Lake all her married life.
She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many callings. She enjoyed reading, quilting, sports and giving of her time and talents to all those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband: Stanton of Swan Lake; 3 sons; Gary (Wanda) Yearsley of Arimo; Eugene (Connie) Yearsley of Banida, Idaho; Bret (Ann) Yearsley of Downey; 3 daughters, Hope (Gerald) Kelley of Chubbuck; Karen Fagnant of Inkom; Delise Herem of Centerville, Utah; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Ken (11a Mae) Morrison of Bountiful, Utah; Reed (June) Morrison of Terreton, Idaho; Dee (Treva) Morrison of Pocatello; and Darrell Morrison also of Pocatello; 3 sisters, Betty Thompson of Logan, Utah; Fay (Merle) Day of Downey; Verda Miller of Pocatello.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Leland and Oren; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2001, at 12 noon in the Downey LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call at Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N. Meadowview Dr., Arimo, on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
