Gladys Artemissia Graham

GRAHAM, GLADYS ARTEMISSIA

Gladys Artemissia Graham, 88, died in August, 1985 in Spokane, WA following an extended illness.

She was born January 30, 1897 in Salem, UT to Daniel Wells Jackman and Sarah Marble. She attended schools in Salem.

She married Joseph Smith Graham December 14, 1922 in Salt Lake City. He died October 15, 1967.

Gladys lived with her family in Spokane the past two years and had lived in her home on Washington Avenue the past 48 years where she raised her family.

She was a member of the LDS Church 13th Ward where she served ini the primary, Relief Society, mutual and Sunday School. She also did temple work.

Survivors include a son, Delbert J. Graham, Los Angeles, CA; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Amy) Stauffer, Rigby; Mrs. James (Emily) Pyper, Spokane; Mrs. Don (Lois) Hallack, Lodi, CA; a brother, Rulon Jackman, Provo, UT; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, nine brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday at the LDS 13th Ward Chapel with Bishop Raymond K. Hudson officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Pocatello.
