LESSER, GENEVIEVE STAYNER, September 12, 1931 – October 21, 2008

Genevieve Stayner Lesser was born in Malad, ID on September 12, 1931 to Henry Turner and Sarah Ann Jones Stayner. She lived the simple life on a farm and loved her family very much. She later graduated from BYU with a degree in business and a minor in sociology in 1954.

She married Paul Alvah Lesser in the Los Angeles Temple on June 6, 1957. Throughout her life she has been active in the LDS Church and has served in many callings. Most of her adult life was spent in Colorado and Utah. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She is now reunited with her dear husband who died five years previous.

She is survived by her three children: David (Deone) Lesser, Lindon; Nancy (Matt) Barton, Springville; Stephen (Lisa) Lesser, Orem and ten grandchildren; five siblings: Gloria Johnson, Sarah Western, Venice Strong, Naomi (Richard) Gibb and Jay (Phyllis) Stayner.

Funeral services will be held October 25, 2008 in the Lindon First Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary.
