Gay Lynn Richards Dunn (September 6, 1945 – March 17, 2022)

Gay Lynn Richards Dunn of Pottsboro, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Gay Lynn Richards was born on September 6, 1945 to Victor Lynn and Betty Jean Richards. She grew up in Malad and graduated from Malad High School. She went to business school in Boise, Idaho. Gay married Robert Dunn in 1965 and daughter Trudy was born in 1966. Gay also started her career with Walker Bank in 1966. Gay was later divorced in 1976. She same year she went to work for Systematics, Inc. She worked there until her retirement. Gay traveled to many countries with her job and continued to travel afterward. New Zealand and China were among her favorites.

Gay temporarily moved back to Malad in 2013 after her mother’s passing to assist her father Lynn. Gay reconnected with numerous friends and classmates during her stay. Thanks to Delpha, Harry, Patsy and Wendy for your friendship.

Gay was preceded in death by her parents, V. Lynn and Betty Richards and her brother Jerry Richards. She is survived by her daughter Trudy Dunn Pool, her grandchildren Jacob and wife Carol, Catherine Lynn, and Emerald, and her great-grandchildren Clara Lynn, Dora and Lele.

As per Gay’s request, there will be no formal funeral service.
