Gary Reid Davis, 59, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2014. Gary was born November 13, 1954 to Reid and Josephine Davis in Providence Utah. Gary was a mechanic all his life. He loved to turn the wrench, especially when it meant helping others. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. Gary met Cheryl Wahler at a young age growing up in Providence. They were married September 13, 1972, and then sealed in the Logan LDS Temple exactly 30 years later. Gary was the oldest of five siblings, sister Bonnie Call, brothers Kenneth Davis, Paul Davis and Michael Davis. Gary is preceded in death by his father Reid, mother Josephine and brother Kenny. Gary is survived by his wife Cheryl, son Brooks and wife Kristy Davis, son Travis Davis and grandchildren, Bailey and Cooper Davis. Gary is also survived by his mother-in-law, La Rue Whaler, her sons, Terry Wahler, Gordon and wife Christine Wahler, daughter Kathy, their families, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and Gary’s many friends. Gary loved life and all those who he surrounded himself with. He will be missed. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Millville Cemetery in Millville, Utah.
