Frank Delwyn Apgood, 75, of Clarkston, died Thursday, July 22, at the Logan Regional Hospital
of heart failure.

He was born April 29, 1918, in Daniels, Idaho, the son of Frank Leslie and Sarah Dudley Apgood.
He married Vendalin Myler on July 30, 1942, in the Logan LDS Temple.

He spent his youth in Daniels and Malad, Idaho, and attended schools in Malad. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He lived and worked in Ogden for a short time, later he moved to Clarkston and worked on the State Road Commission in Cache Junction and for Thiokol Corporation until retirement in 1980. He was also the Secretary of the Clarkston Irrigation Company for many years.

Delwyn loved animals and enjoyed a rasing (raising) many fine horses and was a long-time member of the Clarkston Riding Club. He was active in the LDS Church and served as a Ward Clerk, Counselor in the Yound Mens Presidency, Secretary of the Elders Quorum and Seventies and a hometeacher. At the time of his death, he was a High Priest in the Clarkston LDS Ward.

He is servived by his wife, Vendalin; Clarkston; two sons and one daughter and their spouses.
Larry and Valene Apgood, Clarkston; Mark and Sharon Apgood, Smithfield; Mrs. Bill(Pam) Smith, Colstrip, Montana, eight grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Pharen and Ella Apgood, Salt Lake City; two sister, Duluth Allen and Gerane Apgood, bother of Ogden. One sister-in-law, Bonnie Welker, Gilbert, Arizona

He was preceded in death by a daughter Sharlene and five brothers.

Funeral service were held Monday, July 26, at the Clarkston LDS Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Clarkston City Cemetery.
