Frank Carson Thomas, 82, of Malad, passed away March 2, 1996 after an extended illness. He was born March 7, 1913 in Malad City, ID to Emmett and Martha Thomas. Frank was raised and educated in Malad.

He married Faye Jones on June 13, 1935 at Malad, ID. Frank worked as a plumber and began his own plumbing and heating business in the mid 50s.

Frank was a member of the Malad Presbyterian Church, a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Masonic Lodge #51, Acacia Chapter of the Eastern Star and the Malad Volunteer Fire Department.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching his sons and grandchildren play ball and owning his own business.

Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years, Faye, and four sons and spouses: Roger and Donna of Missoula, MT; Mike and Diana of Weiser, ID; Frank E. and Judy of Pocatello, ID and John and Kimberly of Evanston, WY. Grandchildren are Chris and Ethan; Jeff and Scott; Sarah Faye and Clinton and Jackie and one grandson, Trenton Clint Thomas. He is also survived by three sisters, Wilorie Lewis, June Wilson and Nell Hess.

Funeral services will be held March 6 in the Malad LDS Ward Chapel with Pastor Richard Scott of the Malad Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery with Masonic Rites performed by the Malad Masonic Lodge #51.
