Francis Illum died in Paradise, California on Wednesday, July 29, 1992, at the age of 81. A native of St. John, Idaho. Mr. Illum was a resident of Amador County for 20 years, before moving to Paradise in October of 1991.
A member of the Jackson Ward LDS Church, Mr. Illum is survived by his wife, Jan Illum of Paradise; sons Gordon Illum of Spring Valley, California, Bryan Illum of Palo Alto, California, and Steven Illum of Springfield, Missouri; Daughters, Susan Rollinson of Paradise, California and Kathryn Illum of St. George, Utah; sister Edna Rooker of Henderson, Nevada, Doris Washington, Riverside, California and Neva Rae Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah; and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Services were held on Monday, August 3, 1992, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in Sunset View Cemetery; Daneri Mortuary was in charge of arrangements, (209) 223-0793.
