Florence Sweeten Hubbard, 7 October 1927

Florence Sweeten Hubbard, 75, of Malad, passed away June 10, 2003 in Ogden, Utah.

She was born October 7, 1927 in Holbrook, a daughter of Colen Hagle and Mary Ann Casper Sweeten. She attended school in Holbrook and Malad and was a graduate of Malad High School, class of 1946.

Florence attended college until her marriage to Lloyd William Hubbard on October 28, 1949 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Mr. Hubbard passed away April 16, 1999.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in the Primary, MIA, Relief Society and the Indian Placement Program.

She is survived by her children, Elsie (Brian) Noel of Salt lake City, UT; Lloyd (Brenda) Hubbard and Bruce (Tracey) Hubbard, both of Holbrook; Paul (Kathy) Hubbard of Malad; grandchildren: Jake (Andrea), Josh (Anne), Nick (Jodee), Holly, Emma, Cody, Tamra, Dakota, Austin, Wyatt, Ethan, Ellie, Nicole, Eric and Justin (all Hubbards), and Natalie and Hollie Noel; great grandson, Evan Hubbard; sister, Fay (Steve) Cottle of Malad; brothers, Colen Jr. (Ruth) of Springville, UT; Elbert (Joyce) of Malad; Cecil (Arlis) of Malad; Garth (Diane) of Logan, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nellie and Mary, brothers, George, Lloyd and Owen, husband, Lloyd, grandson, Sterling Noel.

Funeral services will be June 14, 2003 in the Malad LDS Fourth Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
