PICO RIVERA, Calif. – Fern V. Browning, 81, died February 12, 1999 at a Hospice Care Center in Pico Rivera of Pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Malad, Idaho, March 15, 1917, to Edwin Vaughn, Jr., and Elizabeth Bell. Fern was married to Frank B. Browning, October 30, 1934, in Ogden, Utah. He died June 23, 1984. She was a member of the LDS Church. Fern and Frank lived in Idaho, Utah, Washington and since 1941 made their home in California.

She is survived by a son, Jack Browning (Fay) of Terra Bella, California; a daughter, Dixie Fiedler, Henderson, Nevada; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Bailey; a brother, Glen Vaughn both of Ogden, Utah.

Preceding her in death was her husband, parents, sister and daughter Fern. Funeral services was conducted by Elder Charles Cypert of the Pico Rivera LDS Ward at the Rose Hills Memorial Chapel February 17, 1999.
