Fern D. Cuoio

Fern D. Cuoio, 77, 134 N. Fourth Ave., died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, at a local nursing home following an illness.

She was born May 21, 1917, in Pleasantview, Idaho, the daughter of Williams P. Jr. and E. Violet Draper Camp. She graduated from the Malad City High School, and attended the Wright Beauty School in Pocatello. She worked as a beautician for several years.

She married F.A. Tony Cuoio December 11, 1937, in Blackfoot. She was a member of the LDS Second Ward, and held several positions in various auxiliaries. She also sang in the choir. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She was a member of the Veterans’ Ladies Auxiliary for 43 years.

Surviving her are her husband, of Pocatello; one son, David Cuoio, Boise; one sister, Alta Violet McConkie, St. George, Utah.; five brothers, Waldamere Camp, Jerome, Wendell D. Camp, Hamer, W. Paul Camp, Ogden, Utah.; and J. Alden Camp, Salt Lake City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. in the Caldwell Park LDS Ward, Seventh Avenue and Lewis Street, with Bishop Cor Hofman officiating. The family will receive friends at Downard Funeral Home, 241 N. Garfield Ave., on Wednesday, Nov, 16, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
