Faye L. Jones

Faye L. Jones, 78, passed away peacefully December 23 at her home in Malad. She was born December 20, 1914 in Cherry Creek to Brig and Mary Ashton Jones. She attended the local schools and was a member of the LDS Church. She married Gilbert Williams from Samaria and they were later divorced. She was married to Ronald Jones for 47 years.

In her younger years she worked as a waitress and at one time had owned a cafe. In her younger years she worked as a waitress and at one time had owned a cafe. She also worked in a dress shop. Her husband died in 1985 and she moved from Clearfield, Utah to Malad.

She is survived by a daughter Rone’e Smith of Spokane, Washington; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She leaves two sisters in Ogden, LaWanna Clontez and Sylvia Hefflefinger; a sister Norma Everetts in Mississippi; a sister, Alta Moon, three brothers Avon, Cleland, and Leland Jones all of Cherry Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sons, Gaylon and Dan. Graveside memorial service will be at a later date.
