Ethel Richards Rosenberg, 16 December 1932

OGDEN – Ethel Richards Rosenberg passed away January 8, 2002 of natural causes at home in her chair with her daughter and son in law at her side. Ethel was born December 16, 1932 in Malad, ID; her parents were Parley Morgan Richards, Jr. and Ethyl Greer Richards. She married Lynal Dalton Rosenberg on November 23, 1950 and was later married in the Ogden LDs Temple on April 21, 1979.

Ethel was employed at Kiddie Ville clothing store for 12 years where she made a lot of life long friends there. She retired from Kiddie Ville to baby sit some of her grandchildren. She was primary secretary for the 21st Ward Mt. Ogden Stake for two years.

She and Lynal had four children, Debra Ames (Alan), Roy; Cindy Zorn, Ogden; Dennis Rosenberg, Roy; and Carolyn Evans (Rob), Ogden. She was a proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ethel was known to family, friends and especially to her grandchildren as “Me-mo”, a name given to her by her 1st grandchild, Tyler.

In the later years of her life she lived with her youngest daughter Carolyn and her son in law Rob in their home. Her husband, father, mother and three sisters preceded her in death.

Ethel enjoyed camping, going for rides, visiting with her brothers and sisters, and family, and going on trips to Wendover, but most of all she enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held January 12, 2002 at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden. Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
