Funeral Thursday for Esther Davis Price, 82

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m., Thursday in the Malad LDS Stake Building for Mrs. Esther Blodwen Davis Price, age 82, of Ogden and a former resident of Henderson Creek. She died at her home Monday[April 9, 1973].

Friends called at Lindquist Mortuary, Ogden, Wednesday evening and may call at Benson Funeral Home, Malad, Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in Malad City Cemetery. Bishop Floyd L. Roberts will officiate.

Benson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Price was born Sept. 14, 1890, at Henderson Creek, a daughter of Thomas A. and Margaret Ellen Davis Davis[sic]. She was married to Thomas D. Price, May 15, 1912, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Price received her education in Henderson Creek and Malad schools and attended Utah State Agricultural College, Logan. She taught school at Henderson Creek and Arbon Valley.

Mrs. Price was an active member of the LDS Church in Malad and in the Ogden 20th Ward.

Survivors include her husband, Ogden; two sons, Glen T., Malad; Ralph B., Ogden; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Hulda) Tovey, Nampa; Mrs. Orville (Helen) Harris, Shoshone; Mrs. Charles (Gwen) Dezember[sic], Ogden; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
