FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ELWIN SHERIFF

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Gleed in Malad for Elwin Sheriff, 30, who died Thursday at a Butte, Montana hospital of a throat infection.

Mr. Sheriff was born at Malad, January 27, 1912, the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Sheriff. He served two enlistments in the U. S. Army and has been employed at Butte, Montana for the past two years.

He is survived by his father and mother and the following brothers and sisters: Cecil, Orville, Nea* and Beth, all of Salt Lake City.

John E. Thomas officiated at the services. The prelude was played by Mrs. Fern Willie and Mrs. Marteal(sic) Hendricks, Musical selections consisted of a vocal solo by Mrs. Hendricks, vocal solo by H. M. Williams and violin solo by Mrs. Fern Willie, Speakers were Angus Stocking, Thomas D. Evans and John E. Thomas. Prayers were offered by T. F. Budge and Ray Owens and the grave was dedicated by J. Guy Gleed.

Interment was in the Malad cemetery.
