Mrs. Elva Anderson dies at Tremonton after long illness

Mrs. Elva Anderson, age 56, died Monday, March 8 1976, at a Tremonton Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 15, 1920, at Samaria, a daughter of Edward and Marianne Waldron Richards.

She was married to Victor Anderson May 10, 1942 and their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple nine years later.

Mrs. Anderson was an active member of the LDS Church; school teacher at Stone for eight years; and correspondent for the Idaho Enterprise for many years.

Survivors include her husband and four sons: Kenneth Lars Anderson, Pensacola, Fla.; Wynn Richard Anderson, Snowville; Timothy Wayne Anderson, and Keith J. Anderson, both of Stone; seven grandchildren; also seven sisters: Mrs. Leda Jones, Blackfoot; Mrs. Lewis (Okell) Burnham, Arimo; Mary Towe, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Harold (Elizabeth) Ballard, Salt Lake City, Ut.; Mrs. Delora Field, Marysville, Ca.; Mrs. Violet Medley, Boise; and Mrs. Al (Jean) Willoughby, Live Oaks, Ca.; four brothers: Levi and Ralph Hughes, Samaria; Edward Richards, Salt Lake City, Ut.; Henry Richards, Centerville, Ut.

Two sons preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Mar. 11 at 1 p.m. in the Snowville LDS Chapel. Burial will be in the Snowville cemetery.
