Funeral services held for former ‘Miss Malad’

Elizabeth Goldstein, 55, of Lancaster, California, passed away Friday, November 10, 1195, after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born April 20, 1940 in Logan, Utah, the second child of Farrel Dopp and Violet Lewis. She attended Malad schools and graduated from Malad High School in 1958. Also in 1958 she was crowed “Miss Malad”. Shortly after graduating she left Malad and went to California where she spent the rest of her life.
She is survived by one son, David Rust, Semi Valley, California; one daughter, Melinda Peterson and one son in law Don Peterson of Palmdale, California; her mother Violet Lewis of Malad; two sisters, Thelma Dopp and Carolyn Atkinson and spouse, Keith, all of Malad; one brother, Randy Lewis and spouse Dee, of Durango, Colorado; two grandchildren, Rachel and Drew Peterson of Palmdale.
Internment was held Wednesday, November 15, 1995 at Lancaster.
