ELEANOR JONES RICH

FORMER RESIDENT KILLED IN ACCIDENT

Mrs. Eleanor Jones Rich, 64, prominent Blackfoot resident and a native of Malad, was accidentally killed Monday when crushed against a gate post by a car driven by a neighbor, Mrs. Rolf Bellingmo, who Mrs. Rich had asked to take her into town.

Funeral services are being held at Blackfoot today (Thursday) and burial will be there.

Mrs. Rich was born here in 1894, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Jones. Reared and educated here, she was married to Walker Rich on Nov. 9, 1914. He died last August.

Surviving are sons, Walker, Gooding; and Sam, Yakima, Wash.; daughters, Mrs. James (Ada Mae) Woodson, Palo Alto, Calif.; and Mrs. Donald (Eleanor Ann) Ballard, Settle; eight grand children and two sisters, Mrs. Morgan W. (Gwenford) Tovey, Malad, and Mrs. Charles (Eliza) Young, Los Angeles.
