JONES, EDISON DEAN, September 30, 1926 – June 15, 2006

POCTELLO – Edison Dean Jones, 79, Pocatello resident, passed away June 15, 2006 at his home following an illness. He was born September 30, 1926 in Malad, Idaho, to Edison and Evelyn (Bowlingbroke) Jones.

Edison married Margene Blankenship June 17, 1944 in Pocatello. They have been married for 62 years.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church and loved hunting and fishing.

Edison was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sons, Eddy, Randy and David. He is survived by his wife, Margene Jones of Pocatello; a daughter, Pat Aaron of Pocatello; grandsons Paul, Darrin and Brandon Ricks; and granddaughters, Melissa Ricks and Jami Rifelj. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Downard-Hansen Funeral Home.
