SNOWVILLE Doyle Joseph Cutler, 88 died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994 in the Logan Regional Hospital.

He was born Sept. 23, 1905 in Brigham City a son of Joseph Jonathan and Lucy Stoke Cutler.

He married Amanda Jemima Neal, Oct. 17, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Aug. 25, 1975. He married Delora Harrington Feb. 21, 1978 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Mr. Cutler was reared and educated in Snowville and attended BYC in Logan. He was a life-long resident of Snowville. Due to illness, he spent the last year in the Sunshine Terrace in Logan.

He owned and operated his farm in Snowville, Juniper and Stone, Idaho and also worked for the Utah State Hwy Department. He was a custodian for the Box Elder School District and for the Idaho Rest Area. He was also a member of the Snowville Town Board.

He was a High Priest in the Curlew LDS Ward where he had served as a counselor in the Bishopric, Sunday School Teacher (all of his life), Ward and Garland Stake MIA Young Men’s President, Ward Sunday School Superintendent, Scout Master and Home Teacher. He filled a mission to the Southern States Mission from 1925-1927. His greatest joy was in serving and helping others. He loved music and sang throughout the valley.

Survivors include his wife of Snowville; two girls and one son and their spouses; Darlene and Bill Potter, East Garland; LaDene and Wynn Zundel, West Fielding; Sid and Jolene Cutler, Tremonton. One step-son, Bruce L. and Lillian Thomas, Manteca, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Cleon Fergus, Newburg, Oregon; James J Cutler, Brigham City; Norman E. Cutler; Nyssa, Oregon; Jerry Cutler, Hawthorne, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 8, 1994 at 12 noon in the Curlew LDS Ward Chapel, Snowville, with Bishop Michael J. Morgan officiating. Friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Thursday from 10:15 to 11:40 a.m.

Interment will be in the Snowville Cemetery.
