Dorothy Fletchic Mower

Dorothy Fletchic Mower, 73, of Malad, died Friday, February 4, 1994 in Logan, Utah.

She was born Feb. 28, 1920 in Morrison, Illinois, a daughter of Albert and Mary Fletchic. She married George Mower March 16, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they moved to Malad in 1977. Mr. Mower died March 23, 1992.

Mrs. Mower was an active member of the Acacia chapter of Eastern Star No. 69, where she had served as secretary.

She is survived by one son, Stephen Akker; three daughters and spouses, Lynda and Stephen Hamblin of Preston, Idaho, Debra and Doug Dance of Morgan, Utah, Barbara and Richard Lanaghan and one step-daughter, Carol; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edna Kane of Illinois.

Funeral services were held Tuesday Feb. 8 at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home with Bishop Jared Crowther officiating. Internment was in the Malad City Cemetery.
