SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. DORIS B. SLAYTON
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Murray, Utah, for Mrs. Doris B. Jones Slayton, 53, who died Saturday in the Murray City hospital of a brain hemorrhage.
She was born August 9, 1915, at Malad to John W. and Margaret Bolingbroke Jones. She was married to Orville A. Slayton, July 27, 1943, at Ely Nevada.
She received her education in the Malad schools, attended Idaho State College and the University of Utah and has taught school for 27 years.
She is survived by her husband and son. Mark of Murray and a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Louise) Hall, Salt Lake City; one grandchild, two brothers, Clarence and Thomas V. Jones, Malad, and two sisters, Leola Jones, Santa Monica, Calif., and Louise Hansen, Idaho Falls.
