Dorene Kay Price Hone

Dorene Kay Hone, 59, of Boise, our dear wife and mother, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, January 10, 1996.

She was born August 23, 1936 in Malad, Idaho, daughter of Earl Lewis and Izola Morgan Price. She was reared in several beautiful eastern Idaho town, including Preston, where she met her sweetheart, Cleon. They graduated from Preston High School in 1954.

They were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on September 14, 1956. There were three children born to this marriage: Tracy Kay, Kelly Sue and Michael Cleon.

She was always a devoted and loving wife and mother, and she dedicated her time, energies and life to her family. We will always remember her love and devotion.

She is survived by her loving husband, Cleon; daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Stacy Bird, Kelly and Bruce Barfuss; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Hone; grandchildren, Alexis, Chance, Tori, and Cody Bird, Rachel, Whitney and Emilea Barfuss, Letitia and Cleon Hone; her father, Earl L. Price and his wife, Beth; sisters, Kathleen Austin and her husband, Mike, Connie Bowman and her husband, Larry; a brother, Lewis Dean Price; and her aunt, Viora Morgan. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Douglas Earl Price. She is remembered by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan 13, at 11 a.m, in the Goddard Road LDS Chapel, Boise. Bishop David Dildine of the Boise 20th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. A viewing will be held tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise, and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the Goddard Road chapel.

Friends also may call in Malad on Monday, January 15, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, Idaho. Graveside services and burial will follow at 1 p.m. in the Malad City Cemetery.
