Funeral Monday for Mrs. Apgood

Funeral services for Mrs. Earl (Dora Maxwell) Apgood, 80, who died July 13, 1967, at Idaho Falls were held Tuesday at the Benson Funeral Home with Bishop Conrad C. Alder officiating.

The family prayer was by Byron Mineer. The speakers were Bishop G. Howard Neal and William Rutter; obituary, Bishop Conrad Alder; prelude and postlude music, Pauleen Buehler; vocal selections, Carol Daniels, Connie Budge, Ella Mae Holms and Eldon Corbridge; invocation, Rosell Mills; benediction, Frank Allen; accompanists, Joanne Holms and Pauline Buehler.

Concluding rites were at the Malad City Cemetery with Lyle Apgood offering the dedicatory prayer.

Flowers were carried by the First Ward Relief Society.

Casket bearers were Barton Mifflin, Morgan Mifflin, Don Apgood, Ray Davis Bill Peffer and Lyle Apgood.

Mrs. Apgood was born Feb. 17, 1887, at Peoa, Utah a daughter of Ralph W. and Elizabeth Walker Maxwell.

She married Earl Apgood Jan 29, 1905 at Coalville, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Dec. 20, 1916. Mr. Apgood died March 27, 1963.

Mrs. Apgood was an active member of the LDS Church. She lived in Ogden, Blackfoot and Shelley.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter: Elton Apgood, Shelley; Elmon Apgood, Blackfoot; Theoress Apgood, San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Joseph (Ila) Allen, Ogden, Utah. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, and two brothers, Theren Maxwell, Peoa, Utah and Arvel Maxwell, Montana.
