Dolores Thomas Smith, 25 April 1915

SANDY, UT – Dolores (Dorie) Thomas Smith died November 4, 1996 of incidences due to old age.

She was born April 25, 1915 to Lillian Owens and David Oliver Thomas in Malad, ID. She married Thomas F. Smith in Salt Lake City in 1938. He died in 1965 leaving her a widow with two sons, Mark O. (Mickey) Smith and Guy O. Smith, with whom she lived over the past 30 years.

She was the oldest child in a family of seven children and was preceded in death by Lorrane Thomas (1 year old), Nadine (Ed C.) Dives, Estelle (Dwayne W.) Metcalf, and David O. Thomas, Jr. (4 years old). She is survived by Lillian (Andy) Talbot of Malad and Donald R. (Beryl) Edington of Vista, CA.

Funeral services were held November 9 at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary in Sandy. Interment was in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
