Delpha Ann Bloxham Webb, 75, a former resident of Downey and Pocatello, passed away Monday, March 21, 1994, in Hemet, California, following a sudden illness.

She was born January 3, 1919, in Downey, the daughter of Erastus and Sarah May Wakley Bloxham.

On September 9, 1935, she married Charles Layton Webb at Rigby, and this marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple December 20, 1939.

They farmed at Rigby and then lived at Idaho Falls prior to moving to Pocatello. Here, Delpha was a waitress at the Bannock Hotel, Hong Kong Cuisine, and Elmer’s Pancake House. After their retirement, they spent the winters in California. Charles died March 21, 1980, and Delpha moved to California in 1982.

Delpha was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served Spiritual Living teacher, Homemaking leader and a visiting teacher in the Relief Society.

She greatly enjoyed her home and yard and took great pride in them. She also enjoyed golfing and watching major league baseball.

Survivors include three brothers; John Bloxham, Hemet California; Howard Bloxham, Hemet, California; Cohn Bloxham, Shelley, Idaho; four sisters: Orra Jacobs Clark, Hemet, California; Lula Bloxham, Nampa, Idaho; Millie Lamb, Malad, Idaho, and Elena Barnes on an LDS Mission in Birmingham, England. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Webb, in 1972, and her daughter, Linda Webb, on Feb. 23, 1994.

Funeral services for Delpha were conducted Thursday in California.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 28, 1994, at the Downey Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel, 510 North 12th Avenue.
