Following upward we search for the light
Following upward we go toward the light

We’re all here together and that’s how we’d rather
Helping each other through winter and summer

Chorus
Life here is hard there is sickness and trouble
To work and provide’s a continual struggle

Chorus
We’re not left alone we’ve been given a compass
a Savior and brother who came to redeem us
We’ll follow the Savior and go toward the light
We’ll search for the Savior and follow his light

A father and mother we left to be born here
They’re helping and hoping that we will return there
following upward we search for the light
following upward we go toward the light
We’ll search for the Savior and follow his light,
We’ll follow the Savior and go toward the light.
Go toward the light
