DanNel Lydia Davis

DanNel Lydia Davis On the morning of April 2, 2015, at the age of 35, DanNel Lydia Thompson Davis became light on her toes, gained her wings and danced her way back to Heaven. DanNel was born to Val and Judy Thompson of Kaysville, Utah, on January 14, 1980. Her family later moved to Elwood, Utah, where she grew up. DanNel graduated from Bear River High School and LDS Seminary in 1998. She then attended and graduated from Cosmetology School. DanNel met and married her eternal sweetheart, Dale Davis on October 7, 1999. The couple was later married for time and all eternity on March 31, 2000, in the Logan LDS Temple. DanNel and Dale made their home in Malad, Idaho, where they started their family. Three beautiful children came from their union, MaTece Lydia Davis (age 12), Branson Dale Davis (age 11) and Taylor Val Davis (age 6). DanNel was a very talented woman. She loved spending time with her family, scrapbooking, crafting, sewing and of course dancing. Dance was DanNel’s life. DanNel shared her love for dance with her daughter, MaTece. The two loved spending time together planning new dances and solos. In the fall of 2010, DanNel opened the Extreme StarZ dance studio. This was something she had dreamed about since she was a child herself. DanNel had many helpers in her studio including her daughter MaTece, her two sons Branson and Taylor, her husband Dale and her second daughter Brittney Thomas. Her talents for choreography and dance led her team to win numerous State and National Titles. From these titles, Extreme StarZ was invited to dance in Disneyland and be filmed for the Christmas Day Parade that aired on ABC Christmas morning. This was a dream come true for DanNel and her team. DanNel’s team was very important to her and she loved each and every dancer as if they were her own child. She always said that she had 50 plus children and she always said it with a big smile. DanNel was preceded in death by her grandfather Varge and grandmother Leona Thompson, her grandfather LaVar Peterson and her mother-in-law Donna Davis. DanNel is survived by her husband Dale Davis, her daughter MaTece Lydia Davis, her two sons Branson Dale Davis and Taylor Val Davis, her parents Val and Judy Thompson, her three sisters RaKel (Clint) Elmer, Marcee (Delmar) Buxton, Crisy (Rob) Nunn, her brother Kortney (Andi) Thompson, her grandmother Joye Peterson, her father-in-law Joe Ray Davis, her sister-in-law SueLynn (Roger) Nicholas, her brother-in-law Shawn (Jennifer) Davis and many extended family members.
