DANIEL KNUTSON

Dan Knutson passed away August 23, 2012 into the arms of heavenly Father due to complications of Parkinson’s disease. He was born August 18, 1932 in Stone, ID to Lester A. and Caroline Nattress Knutson. He married Lois Morton on November 9, 1951 in Twin Falls, ID; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Dan served in the US Army during the Korean Ward, drove truck for most of his life and retired from ABF in 1992. He was a member of the Local 222 Retirees. After retirement, Dan and Lois traveled and he loved fishing.

He was preceded in death by parents; three sisters; five brothers. He is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Clif (Cindy), Darold (Michelle); daughter, Lori (Al); five grandchildren; one great grandson; brothers, Jay and Gale; several nieces and nephews; and a very special cousin, LaRue Wahler.

Funeral services will be held September 1, 2012 at the Taylorsville Gardens 2nd Ward. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
